I am currently Deputy Director and Professor of Globalisation and Innovation at UNU-MERIT in Maastricht (the Netherlands).

Prior to moving to UNU-MERIT, I was Senior Economist at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw) (2009-2014) and Assistant Professor at the University of Vienna (2000-2008).
